Dr. Jamil Minnis, M.D. FACOG
Medical Director
Dr. Minnis is an American Board Certified obstetrician and gynaecologist at Oxford Medical Women’s Health Center, Nassau, Bahamas. He focuses on minimally invasive GYN procedures and is a trained laparoscopic surgeon, performing surgeries such as an oophorectomy, ovarian cystectomy, and total laparoscopic hysterectomy.
Prior to opening his obstetrics and gynaecology practice, Dr. Minnis worked as an Associate Professor Series II and Clinical Instructor at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA.
He has received awards such as Best Resident Surgical Hands and ABOG recognized Top Resident Teaching Award.

Spa Director
Jeffrey is a leader at heart, with superb communication skills and 29 years of experience in hospitality and customer service. At Essence Med Spa, he manages the daily business operations and ensures you receive the quality care you deserve. Jeffrey wants every client to be blown away with an incredible experience each time they visit our office.
A father of two, Jeffrey loves to travel, swim, and experience fine dining. He advocates giving back to the community and says his goal in life is to stay focused and always put God first.
